Private Tastings
Guided Experiences That Feel Natural, Engaging, and Memorable
A great tasting isn’t just about what’s in the glass—it’s about how people experience it.
BarBeast offers private tastings designed to feel welcoming, interactive, and thoughtfully guided. Whether guests are new to wine and spirits or already familiar, the goal is to create an environment where people can learn something, ask questions, and genuinely enjoy the experience.
This isn’t a lecture—it’s a conversation.
What This Looks Like
Each tasting is curated specifically for the group, the setting, and the occasion.
This can include:
• Curated wine and/or spirits selections
• Structured tasting order designed for flow and progression
• Guided discussion with approachable, engaging education
• Pairing suggestions or light food integration
• Custom themes or focus areas based on interest
Built From Experience
This work is shaped by years of hands-on hospitality and beverage experience.
With a background in bartending, beverage program development, and working closely with wine and spirits in both service and distribution, BarBeast brings a balance of technical knowledge and real-world application.
Twinkie holds a Level 2 certification from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) and regularly conducts tastings and trainings, translating that knowledge into experiences that feel accessible rather than overwhelming.
Why It Matters
Tastings can easily become overly technical or disconnected from the people in the room.
The focus here is different.
The goal is to meet guests where they are—to create an experience that feels comfortable, engaging, and paced in a way that keeps people interested without feeling formal or rigid.
When done well, a tasting becomes something people remember, not just something they attend.
